Clapper

The Danish quartet Clapper are among the foremost acts on the jazz adjacent scenes in Scandinavia. With plenty of rhythm section wonk and catchy melodic themes, their sound is immediately recognisable – and a top live experience to boot.

On May 23, 2025, the group is set to release their second album, Under the Radar, through HHV Records / Super Bad Disco. The album is a live recording from 2024 with all new material, except one track which reinterprets a single from their debut album On Tempo (2023).

Rooted in both classic fusion jazz and modern vibes from both Detroit and London, Under the Radar is a heavy-hitting take on that unmistakable Clapper sound and groove, sure to please both existing listeners and attract plenty of new ones.

While acclaimed in their home country Denmark, Clapper may still be flying Under the Radar internationally – but not for long.
